I have been listening to alot of jazz recently and this really helped out.
Haha. My pleasure.
I like to seem like I know stuff about things.
I'm also glad to see more people being drawn to jazz from electronic music.
It's a logical progression, really..
Well, degression, actually.
But you know what I mean.

I just heard your mother on my street..
And she was, like, knocking on my door..
...for sex.
At least, I think it was for sex.
Because that's what I gave her.
...sex.

Re: The Music We Like Thread
The SOTC soundtrack is epic, is it more epic than LOTR? maybe, maybe!...
Re: The Music We Like Thread
That is quite a claim to make but im inclined to agree. Kow Otani is such a genius.bluekatrock wrote:The SOTC soundtrack is epic, is it more epic than LOTR? maybe, maybe!...
But is it more epic than this?

The MGS2 main theme may beat the main theme of FF8 which should be impossible.

Oh yes, and it blew me away.
Thought it was short, as virign media promised me 2 hours of radiohead action. but still loved it!
I missed the first 10 minutes though, what tracks did I miss?

they opened with creep.
and yeah i no, stupid bloc party and whatever they showed instead of the encores. but i am pretty sure they would have played these are my twisted words in one of the encores. so they made us miss that.
erm, there second song was the national anthem. thats probably all you missed. that one did go on for a while.

Re: The Music We Like Thread
Wait a minute..
I saw it too!
They opened with Creep?!
I missed the first 5 minutes and this is what I get.
Did they play it all good-like?
Because if they didn't, then I'm not really fussed about it.
I too was unhappy to see that it was not the whole two hours.
But at least it was Bloc Party and.. wait.. there was Lostprophets too.
Well, there goes my argument.
But Kele does this thing where he strums real wide,
yet the chords come out perfect.
Did anyone else think that was as amazing as I did?
Eh?
Eh?

Re: The Music We Like Thread
I was not happy with the amount of bloc party they put on instead. so my sister switched over to pingu, which calmed my anger.
everything in its right place was amazing as usual, i really thought paranoid android was cool and we were blessed with Thom Yorke pulling the shapes as well, and Colin threw in some too which is always a bonus!... bit sad i missed national anthem...I'll watch it later on "on demand" that will probably be broken.
damn BBC cutting out new tracks.
british bastard cocksuckers is what they should be called, i think.

The wonderful Nicko McBrain calls them the Super Soft Silly Putty Company
Alas I missed this. Will have to find it on iPlayer.
Re: The Music We Like Thread
I watched the tracks I missed at Eazy Pop Sweet Popcorn. The National Anthem was well bananas.
Just thought I'd share that. Hope that's not insulting to your race or creed.
