Re: The Bellends Film Club
George Clooney plays a man that flies about and fires people. He only cares about his air miles. Juno guy aka Jason Reitman director of Thank You For Smoking directs. As for its good i have heard wide claims of its goodness but i have no idea beyond that.bluekatrock wrote:I'll be there. Will this film be good? What's it about? I know nothing!
We can of course decide on another movie if people dont fancy it. I just wanna see a movie. Although all other films fall into the category looks a bit naff or seen it twice for some reason.

I think he's back sometime never. Perhaps he met Yahtzee and they formed a travelling angry club.
As for films, I would like to see something better than Up In The Air, but I doubt there will be anything. And I don't know what is showing.
I will find out.
*finds out*
DAYBREAKERS!
VOTE. VOTE. VOTE. VOTE.
Re: The Bellends Film Club
We should vote on films on Monday. But i have heard that Daybreakers just exists to set up its own sequel and not in a good way like Holmes. But meh im cool either way.

Oh God no, I want George Clooney over Sam Neill. I'm sorry, but I hate vampire flicks.
Daybreakers is that new vampire cash-in, right?

Re: The Bellends Film Club
Daybreakers is that new vampire cash-in that freely admits that it is a vampire cash-in, AS IF THAT MAKES IT BETTER.
I'd rather see Up in the Air.
Alex, you convinced me to see it, now you are unwilling.
What's up with THAT?

Re: The Bellends Film Club
There have been maybe three truly good vampire flicks. Two of them German, the other Swedish. I didnt see Thirst yet but i will do on when it comes out on dvd. Maybe there can be a fourth.
I did have high hopes for Daybreakers but then i read everywhere its just an attempt to set up a franchise.

Bastards.. now I only have The Wolfman to look forward to. And that's going to be average.
I hate and love films.
I'm gonna go watch the director's cut of Léon.
Re: The Bellends Film Club
I wanna see that, Invictus, Toy Story 2 3D and Alice in Wonderland all out next month. With the exception of Toy Story 2 obviously.Chiggers wrote:andrews wrote:attempt to set up a franchise

Unless Invictus has another trailer out I missed, it seems too much like a Matrix copy.
Toy Story 2 3D and Alice in Wonderland I agree with though

Yeah, but the Matrix is great, I've realised recently.
Not as great as Léon...
Oh, and you're wrong! WRONG, Gilbey!
Re: The Bellends Film Club
I don't remember Nelson Mandela being in the Matrix. But that would have made it ten times better.
Re: The Bellends Film Club
Gilbey has Inception and Invictus all mixed up in't mind.
Also how on Earth could i forget Shutter Island?
Anyways Thurrock Vue is shit and isnt showing Toy Story 2. Who is up for a journey to Romford to see it?

Re: The Bellends Film Club
How can they NOT be showing it? They've been advertising it for months.
Ben?! shit cinema. God, it annoys me.
But I am not up for going to Romford. I'm not that crazy about seeing it, seen it before...haha.

Re: The Bellends Film Club
I know this is an option we have never used before, but what about seeing Toy Story 2 3D at Bluewater?
