The Onion's greatest headline. bar none. i laughed so much i almost forgot to watch the video.
i thought it would mock glenn beck, instead it mocks peoples hatred of him. i agree with this.
glenn beck may be an ignorant rightwing nutter (ie he may play the character of an ignorant rightwing nutter) but at least he isnt rush limbaugh

This is the best video I have ever seen, or will see, at any point during the rest of my life.

Sometimes you see something so bizarre and unlikely it changes everything.

Bird Sabotages Hadron Collider
But my favourite bit is at the end:
People believing it is the LHC travelling from the future and trying to prevent the experiments to stop the danger.
There's a movie right there.

If that bread ended up in the particle accelerator it could've been Cloudy-esque to say the least.Glass Onion wrote:Bird Sabotages Hadron Collider

My favourite bit is the picture of the bird with the baguette in his mouth.
As if we needed a picture to show us how those two things could be put together.
It raises so many questions, too.
Did they just find a picture of a bird with baguette in his mouth?
Did they forcibly insert the baguette into the bird's mouth?
If so, was it the same bit of baguette that caused the malfunction?
I would gleefully watch a movie where all these questions were answered.
Perhaps with a shifty guy in a trenchcoat, who refuses to give any information to the inspector, and then later we find out that he has nothing to do with it, he's merely distracting the police force so the real perpetrators can make good their escape.

Re: Links and Stuff
It was a pretty hilarious picture. I read a similar article about it on another newspaper site and they'd put a screen shot from Back to the Future, and the article was entitled "Baguette to the Future."
Imaginative souls.
