1. Goodfellas (i may prefer Taxi Driver but this is better)
2. Taxi Driver
3. Raging Bull
4. The Aviator
5. Mean Streets ("You called me a mook? What's a mook?) almost as good as "You think I'm funny?"

I'm gonna watch Casino, Cape Fear and The King of Comedy over the next 2 days methinks. And then I may buy New York, New York when i next go lakie. Then i will work on non De Niro, Scorsese films.

New York, New York is £3.31 NEW from Play.com (from a third party seller for whom it was an unwanted gift), or £4.07 NEW from Amazon.co.uk (including £1.21 shipping & £2.86 for the product, from a third party seller who sends things first class).

...

My God, what the hell do my friends have against deals?!

Here:

Play.com (£3.31)

Amazon.co.uk (£4.07)

I think we should also discuss how the Play.com one is both CHEAPER, and THE TWO-DISC SPECIAL EDITION.

Is it worth spending five minutes setting up a Play.com account so you can save money on BASICALLY EVERYTHING?

Why yes, I think it is!

Very Happy

I can get it for £5 from hmv.com and get purehmv points. So its either play or hmv it seems.

Also Casino is epic both in terms of length and quality. Very Happy

He is kicking of the 2010s with Shutter Island and I Heard You Paint Houses. So it could well be the 2010s that are his best.

EDIT: And The Winter of Frankie Machine which will be another De Niro/Scorsese film. Maybe he should put Pesci, Di Caprio and De Niro together.

Cape Fear is intense as hell. Very good aswell.

My only guff is The Simpsons parodied it. The eonw ehere Sideshow Bob straps himself under the car and they go on a boat and all that. Although De Niro's character doesn't walk on rakes it would have ruined the atmosphere somewhat.
